The Bachelor 2018 Fantasy League Week 6: My Predictions

The Bachelor (and any Bachelor franchise show) is definitely my biggest guilty pleasure show. I didn’t start watching until Juan Pablo’s season (I know, great season to start watching, right?!) and have been hooked ever since. I usually follow most of the contestants on social media, and pull for every single couple that leaves the show together or engaged (still not over Andi and Josh breaking up, tbh). My favorite couple that has stayed together is definitely Sean and Catherine, even though I didn’t watch their season. I’m hoping I can watch it once I’m done watching Grey’s Anatomy, because I absolutely love them as a couple and would love to see how they get their start!

Anyway, I’m participating in the official Bachelor Fantasy League 2018 draft for this season of The Bachelor — Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s season. I will say that I went into this season not like Arie (solely based on what I’ve heard about him, since I didn’t watch the show yet when he was last on)… but honestly? He’s become my favorite Bachelor. That most likely will change, but I just feel like he’s my type of man lol. I’m loving this season!

So, I figured I would try to start blogging about The Bachelor since I have a pretty big obsession with it. I’d love to talk with you all about it, so make sure to comment with your thoughts! I plan on trying to do two posts a week on The Bachelor — one with my fantasy league predictions, and one with a recap/my thoughts on the episode after they happen.

So, without any further rambling, here are my Bachelor Week 6 Predictions for the fantasy league!

A bachelorette confesses that she has a hard time opening up to Arie because…

  • She has trust issues
  • She is not attracted to Arie
  • She has another man at home
  • She is afraid of commitment

I think they would have realized they weren’t attracted to Arie before Week 6, and left if they really wanted to. Same with being afraid of commitment — obviously this is possible, but why even go on The Bachelor if you aren’t ready to commit? (Although I def know some people go on it for the friends, experiences and fame…) Honestly I don’t have a good reason for not choosing “she has another man at home,” I just wasn’t feeling that one.

Trust issues is the most logical choice, in my opinion.

One of Arie’s dates this week gets derailed by the following:

  • Wine gets spilled on a dress
  • Someone becomes ill
  • A car breaks down
  • An unexpected guest arrives

I really struggled with this one — it’s so random and I had no idea which one to choose. I’m not sure that wine getting spilled on a dress would derail a date, but hey, some of these girls can be super dramatic… so you never know.

TRUE or FALSE: A bachelorette takes a dip in the hot tub with Arie this episode.

  • True
  • False

Again, just not feeling this one. From the previews, it didn’t really look like any of the dates would have hot tub time.

Arie wows the crowd with ________ onstage after she receives a rose.

  • Becca K.
  • Bekah M.
  • Chelsea
  • Jacqueline
  • Jenna
  • Kendall
  • Krystal
  • Lauren B.
  • Seinne
  • Tia

I think Bekah will be in the group date, and although I don’t think she’s going to make it much farther in the season, I think Arie is going to have some special moments with her before she leaves. I definitely think she’s going to get the group date rose, and I can totally see her doing something onstage — she just has a performing type of personality!

Which bachelorette is sent home immediately after she takes part in a double date with Arie?

  • Becca K.
  • Bekah M.
  • Chelsea
  • Jacqueline
  • Jenna
  • Kendall
  • Krystal
  • Lauren B.
  • Seinne
  • Tia

PLEASE. This is the one prediction that I really hope I’m right on. I don’t like judging people based on a show, but come on. This girl is (or at least is being portrayed to be) fake and I just can’t watch her any longer! She definitely is going to leave the show in some sort of dramatic way, and what’s better than a two-one-date?
